So there's not really much to share on these work days. I spend all of the daylight hours in the office. I have to wait for the sun to come up at 7:30 to walk to work in the morning, and by the time I get home at 5:45 or so, it's already getting dark. I choose to heed the warning of my colleagues here and avoid walking after dark. Hence, no time for adventures or exploration.

I'm so very grateful for my handy-dandy laptop! I've been able to Skype with my family on a regular basis, which makes me feel like I'm right next door! BTW - happy shout out to my sister... In today's mail I received M&M's, Skittles and cherry and grape kool-aid singles!! My Cup-o-Noodles dinner just turned into a three course meal! Thanks sis!

I have two English channels on my TV here - One is CNN world news out of London (which is awesome!), the other a local station that plays really old, and really bad American made-for-TV movies. Seriously, if John Stamos is the leading man, you know you're in trouble. So I'm kind of enjoying a TV-free world. A week and a half away from American TV, and the advertising people are still getting their money's worth... I saw these trees outside my hotel and couldn't help but think 'more bars in more places'. Pathetic.
